No coincidence...simply God's plan!

WOW...this week Lud and I celebrated two years since we married and two and a half since we met! And let me tell you, we have been through a lot.

In less than two years I have moved four times, Lud three. God completed our beautiful family with Alexander and Victoria (doctors told us that they where both going to be born with either down syndrome or slight retardation-and the prayer of the faithful WORKS). We have been LITERALLY broke and NOT so broke...and through it all God has been faithful.

So here's a bit of us in two years.

We met in Lake Yale June 2007 youth camp. Ludwing saw my "fro" (lo)l at registration that Monday and it apparently caught his attention, that night I saw him preaching and praising for the first time, and mind you I was NOT looking for a relationship. It wasn't until that Thursday that we actually spoke. I went back to the sound booth to say "hey", and he said, no lie, DON'T LEAVE TOMORROW WITHOUT GIVING ME YOUR NUMBER. I was thinking to my self, oh Lord, what's going to happen...

That Friday morning I gave him my number. That afternoon he called me on the way down to West Palm (I was in Tampa) and we spoke for about 3 hours or so.

Saturday morning we spoke, then we spoke at night...and THAT night we said we would get married December 15th...6 months away.(cough/cough...we DID)

My dad being cuban didn't let me drive to WP to see him, so Lud drove every week, to see me for 6 months (4 hr drive each way). I went up only twice. So, before our wedding we had, TOPS, 20 dates.............not even!

We had a wondelful wedding at the beach, went to Vegas for 8 days...then we enjoyed getting to know each other!

(Ill skip a bit)

In October Alexander was born prematurely at 31 weeks, 10:33 AM weighing only 3 lbs and 15" long. Because of the meds I did not see him until that night at 11 PM. Let me tell you, I was in awe of how Gods hands were on our little angel! It WAS A LOVE THAT CAN"T BE DESCRIBED. He did not need oxygen, and held daddy's finger that same night! He was in the NICU for a month. We would go to see him at least twice a day for a few hours. The nurses loved him. I was (well still Im) so very much in love with this now blonde little trouble maker! But that month Satan did his thing, BUT, like Job, we never doubted God and boom...we came to Miami.

Lud started pastoring at our present and awesome church, Resurrection. We love it here!!!!!!!

Again, in February we conceived our little princess Victoria. My pregnancy with her was simply perfect, at three months pregnant the doctors saw a dot in her upper left ventricle of the heart, and told us this was one of the causes of children with down syndrome. Because they had told us the SAME thing with Alexander I told the doctors to simply keep the "prognosis" to themselves. And on October 15th, at 3:30 PM our second little treasure was born. 6 lbs 12 oz, and 19" long. super healthy, gorgeous and hungry lol.

Now, two years later we have had to learn how to be husband and wife, parents, and me a youth pastors wife.

Life has definitely given us some huge obstacles and tests, but God has taken care of our family day and night. The promise he makes in Joshua 1:9 is so very applicable to our home. not once did we doubt Him, or question Him. Through all the tribulations we stayed optimistic and KNEW He would help us figure it out.

We re doing a very good job with our gorgeous babies, we still don't know what the future holds, and honestly we don't worry. WHY?

Because we have a wonderful counselor, who happens to be King of Kings, the maker or all creation as our Father...and THAT my friends is enough reason to leave it all in His hands (our future, our kids, our ministries, our jobs, our income...everything). Because His decisions will always be wiser than ours.

Weather He calls us our of the country, or to stay here is the gorgeous city of Miami...our only job is to obey, praise and worship Him. And He WILL take care of our marriage, children and home.

Thank you Lord for ALL the undeserved blessing in my life, for my wonderful husband, healthy babies, out of this world parents, my handsome brother and all my friends!

<3 You Honey, champ and princess! It's been an action packed first two years...can't wait to see what the next two will bring : )
